Okay. This is a (quasi-) inspired vision. One of UConn's best, like Katie Lou, Napheesa or Kia, will be plagued with a minor-but debilitating injury in the second round that renders them all but useless.
Meanwhile, in their bracket, a 3 seed tears down the 2 seed, and they become inspired like the crusaders of olden days: they face UConn, undaunted. On game day in the EE, referees are changed cuz of unexpected illness. Michael Price, Bryan Enterline Beth Mowins are roped into doing the game.
UConn loses by 10 or more. and *I'M* buyin' tickets to the FF!

| major injury to one of Williams, Collier, KLS that makes it impossible to play. I think they would still make a good run at it, but the bench really is SHORT

I think they will beat S Car pretty easily but will lose in the NCAA tourney so Doris burke can marvel about the streak still once its over.
