Those tweets both seem rather petty. It seems maybe the departures are related to the kneeling before the national anthem event.

That could be a big loss. They lose Slaughter and Kai James after this year and Thomas and White next year.

Remind me again where Woods is from. That could have some bearing on why she went where she went. Also, maybe she just liked Pebley's pitch, and the team.

I believe she's a California girl, so TCU is actually further from 'home'. But there are always other possibilities, i.e., TCU recruited her, friends went there, etc.

She might have to learn at least one other language Wink Hofstra has the largest foreign player presence in the CAA.

She's within a 25 mile radius of home (Queens) and where she played her H.S. basketball at LuHi. I'm sure she'll be very comfortable; although, I was sorry to see her leave Michigan.

I was there and thought it might have been an ACL when she went down but then it looked like they were looking at her ankle before she went into the locker room. That's too bad. They'll have a hard road without her.

Abby Cole, the all-american volleyball player, is unable to compete for Michigan this season due to a lower leg injury. She still has one year of eligibility left.

They kept saying "soon" and "another week or so", but her shin splints are still a concern.

Shin splints are awful. My daughter had them her freshman year of HS and it took a long time to recover from.

Coach Coquese Washington announced her team will be without freshman De’Janae Boykin for the rest of the year. Senior Keke Sevillian, who hasn't played since last season, will also miss the remainder of this season due to personal reasons, per team spokesman.

Is there any word today on either Diamond DeShields or Shakayla Thomas? Will either of them miss any games from their Thursday injuries?

As of yesterday, DD's status for Sun's game was still uncertain. I can't find any new report today.
