I know that some are against it being played.
This is not the thread for that discussion. This is the thread that, it's played, deal with it and now how do you like it done?
Do you prefer the school band playing it?
Someone from the school/community playing/singing it?
Someone famous if the event is large enough?
Do it traditionally (by traditionally, I'm thinking what you usually hear at the Olympics)? Or allow artistic interpretation?
Fast or slow?
Does the crowd sing along with the performer, or stay silent?
Favorite performances of the anthem?
