I have absolutely no idea who this person is. Sorry. |
Played at Bowling Green, coached at St. Bonaventure and Xavier.
She's younger than I am, though, so we've now reached the point of "oh God what am I doing with my life?" |
I guess I am seeing Loyola returning to the cellar of the OVC. Too bad. For all the strum und drang, Swoopes had managed to drag them into the middle of the conference standings, and in the games I saw they actually played like they meant it. A young, relatively inexperienced coach from that kind of background will probably not be able to attract the caliber of players that, say, a Kellie Harper at MO State does, so Loyola will most likely not be competitive. Just my opinion.
Oh, and they're ALL younger than I am |
Kate was the PG for the BG team that reached the Sweet 16 under Curt Miller. I'm not at all surprised to see her as a head coach...maybe a bit sooner than I thought. I wish her well...undoubtedly she has her work cut out for her.
The AD at Loyola is a BG grad (played basketball there and was at St. Bonaventure during the time Kate was an assistant there.

Here's a new rumor: It's Tara's last year on the Farm.

You've been around (especially THAT part of the country) enough, Clay, to give us a hint at the rumor's merit, no?

That's another loss of consistent talent and class.

will say it again...only d1 HC over 800 wins not in the Women's Hall
Only member of the d1 top 10 in wins not in the hall
.752 winning percentage higher than 5 of that afformentioned top 10
23 conference titles of any ilk
no scandals or even incidents rude or classless behavior that I know of (tho if someone out west wants to bring up anything floor is yours)
yes he was at a mid...he did things in that part of the world that very few could accomplish even in the power 5
Knoxville...it's your call...but I say IN and have been for some time (truthfully since Ciampi got in...not saying Ciampi is undeserving but to me he is the lowest common demonator and I think Selvig trumps his stats)
Put Robin Selvig in the WBB Hall of fame!
