This is an ugly disease!!! I didn't realize all of the ways it attacked a person. Crying or Very sad

I knew many of those things but not all of them. Thank you for posting this as it's important that people are educated about this terrible disease.

One of my dear friends, an Episcopal Church deacon and retired RN, has had sarcoidosis for the past 5 years and was recently diagnosed with early-onset dementia. He is not yet 65. I am devastated.

It's such an insidious thing, robbing you of your very identity. Cruel, really. I remember watching Pat as an observer at some of TN's games, and she looked so dispassionate, compared to her coaching days.

But. She's free now, God rest her soul.
