They're still signing 'em, folks! FGCU has signed 5'9 freshman F Nasrin Ulei from Murrieta, CA. She is a recent graduate of Rancho Murrieta HS. FGCU coach Karl Smesko said, “Nasrin is a defensive standout who also is a good scorer with 3-point range.”
It is worth noting that FGCU will enter the season with only five returning scholarship players and one returning starter after losing nine seniors, including six from the rotation.

Karl is an extraordinary coach, so I'd bet he'll still be a contender in his conference.

Hofstra just announced the signing of Ana Hernandez-Gil out of Spain. she brings this year's recruiting class to 5 total. 3 of those 5 are international, as 2 of the others are both from Finland. Next year, HU's roster will have quite the international flair, with 2 players from Puerto Rico (if you count that as international), 2 from Finland, 1 from Cameroon, and 1 from Spain.

Oregon State has secured a commitment from Joanna Grymek, s 6'8 center from Poland who has been playing at Seward County Community College in Kansas. It appears that she will be eligible immediately (coming in in January?) and will have 3 seasons left. She was the top post player in the NJCAA and highly sought after. She should fill the void left by Ruth Hamblin.

wow. great catch for OSU even if she turns out to have limited mobility. I'm happy for the cute lil guy with the big heart.
PS maybe rhymes with Dydek (RIP)
