There is one thing I'm not quite understanding, but perhaps it's just her wording, but she says she withdrew from the team and in response her scholarship was revoked which is a violation of the NCAA rule that prevents a scholarship from being revoked when an injury is suffered due to participation in that player’s athletics at the College. But there are channels to go through, if she is taking a career ending injury, which is sounds like was her intent she can't just quit the team and expect to keep her scholarship, the athletic department has to file paper work with the NCAA. Now maybe she did that, but when she says she withdrew I am taking that as she quit the team which if her decision, but when a player quits a team she is not allowed to keep her scholarship unless she makes an agreement with the team, filing for a career ending injury is a lot different than quitting the team for an injury without filling out the proper paper work.
