Life is rough at the top.
1) Sports are supposed to be competitive. When they are not it is boring.
2) For all his greatness, his teams have not been particularly good in close games. Some people ascribe that to him not being a good game coach.
Geno will go down as the most successful coach in history, but he certainly isn't doing it with the grace of John Wooden. Maybe more like Bob Knight.

Myth vs. reality.
Also unlike Wooden, Geno is doing it without the help of a drug money launderer like Sam Gilbert.
Wooden has a teflon skin on that issue.

Exactly, don't be fooled by the humble and nice John and Nell, bless their souls. Loved Wooden but there has always been money involved with the guys, always will and now it is creeping into the girls.

One of the most enjoyable podcasts I have listened to in quite some time. Refreshingly honest and blunt, covering a wide array of topics.
I am a Lowe fan and listen to his podcast often, but this was the best yet.
