| Just curious....if, say, an LSU position came up in the next two years, who should Joe Alleva go after aggressively?

Its really hard to say considering your current coach was an up and comer that was hotly pursued by numerous division one programs.
Florida Gulf Coast has been an impressive program, maybe their coach will be pursued by SEC schools in the future. Same goes for USF's coach Jose Fernandez.

Tony Bozzella (Seton Hall, formerly Iona) would be a great choice.
Although I hope everyone leaves him alone, Jonathon Tsipis at GW is without question ready for a major program.
Or maybe Karen Barefoot at ODU.

Jose just got a big bump and they made major renovations to their facility. They have invested heavily in him and the program so I doubt he goes anywhere...plus he loves it right where he is.
I also don't think Kenny Brooks leaves JMU. He loves that level, he is taken care of pretty well by the JMU administration and they are dominant in their league right now.
Jim Jabir is pretty happy at Dayton right now. They are taking care of him right now and the facility is tremendous, not to mention the recruiting hotbed that is Ohio. He didn't have a good experience at Providence plus he has had some health issues (job pressure related?). He may finish his career in Dayton, OH.
Tsipis is a tremendous candidate. There are a couple of others in the Northeast: Coach Abe at Albany and Jen Rizzotti at Hartford. I know Coach Abe is willing to move to a new challenge but not sure Rizzotti will leave her post unless it is for alma mater.

| I think if it needs to be right or we could have situation like with Gigi going to Texas. Looking at the successful coaching in the SEC there seems to be the need for a regional fit. Someone who knows the culture, knows the people, knows the high school programs. I don't know how Rizzoti would do in the south being from the NorthEast. Suburbs transplanted coach is sucking and even LSU, who has a Tennessee alum at the helm, isn't making waves. And I'll be interested in seeing what Kristy Curry can make at 'Bama (not expecting much).

I think you hire the best coach, and good coaches can adapt.
Caldwell demonstrates that hiring someone from the South who played and was an assistant in the SEC doesn't mean you can recruit or coach in the SEC.
