Not too old. It was announced in late May, I think.

Yep, she's going to Villanova. This was discussed on another thread. I wish her the best. I think most of her troubles the past year were more psychological than physical and maybe being in a lower pressure environment will help that.

Why Villanova though? Ugh! I never liked their WBB team or Coach!

Harry Perretta is one of the greatest coaches in women's basketball history, and is perhaps an even better person. He has spent 37 years at Villanova turning out tremendous women throughout. 99% of his four year players have attained their degree. His Wildcats broke UConn's 70 game winning streak in 2003 and then beat them again the next season. This was UConn with Diana Taurasi and at least four other future WNBA players against Villanova with Trish Juhline (who was drafted in the third round but I don't believe ever played in the WNBA) and no one else who sniffed the W.
Perretta didn't like flying so he rarely traveled outside the Northeast, but in recent years he has been more willing to fly and as a result I was able to see him coach in Las Vegas against Montana coaching legend Robin Selvig which I wrote about at the time:

To me the most interesting aspect is that I believe Tucker is a devout Muslim going to a Jesuit school. Perhaps the overall pious nature of the school is part of the appeal. but it also shows that 'faith' as a concept is often more important than 'religion.'
With Tucker and 2016 recruit Kelly Jekot, Villanova could be a very interesting team in two years.

Great post. Tucker is also a shooter and Harry loves to use the arc, so that could be a great fit. Kelly Jekot seems like a very talented glue type of player. She should be useful in his half court game. I hope Harry has other shooters when Tucker becomes eligible. Expect low scoring affairs where Harry's coaching makes the difference. What a pace contrast between Harry and Doug Bruno! Should be some nice BE battles coming up. Will St. John's still be good in 2 years?
