I like that the UConn road game is a charity game. If you're going to bring in one of the better drawing schools, let it be for a good cause.

I'm less than thrilled with UConn helping bring K State money given the whole Romero thing.

Big deal, she wanted a transfer after the coach she agreed to play for got fired. Yet another overreaction to a non-event.

You mean that time Kansas State followed the NCAA rules about transfers?

Sounds like the application of these rules was somewhat arbitrary.

KState may have followed the rules, but these were extenuating circumstances so the decent thing to do would have been to allow her to transfer to schools other than the ones KState feared were guilty of tampering. Otherwise, it would just make KState appear vindictive and thus a very poor destination for foreign recruits.

Any chance we can avoid having this discussion again? It was about a 300-post thread the last time.

For real! She has even played one year at Florida State already.
As for the series, I like this addition.

Seriously? Like five people have argued about the specifics of this case on this thread, and I'm not one of them. I'm pretty clear on my personal morals and convictions, pretty clear that arbitrarily telling a college kid that they can't transfer is outside of them, and so don't really want anything to do with K State. That's it.
