And so the end begins for women's college basketball.
Let's lower the basket so they can dunk more as they pass through the Motel 6 of college.
Let's pay them salaries during their enslaved transient stays.
Let's sue the WNBA under the antitrust laws to do away with all those unintelligible restrictions on WNBA draft eligibility. There are legal precedents for success.
I'm personally looking forward to Mo'ne Davis playing pro in some unpronounceable country next year. |

Those restrictions are part of a collective bargaining agreement, which helps protect them from challenge; IIRC, the last time a draft restriction was challenged, it didn't go so well in court.

Probably. Seattle takes her #1. Zahui should go #2. I think Seattle has to go big with the #3 (Williams?). Unless Tulsa wants KML.

I don't think she was going to before. Now she might.

One question.....is this the same outfit, or the same source, that was so sure Taya Reimer was transferring back in January?

Wonder if this is why Jewel hasn't been playing like Jewel. Too much thinking about this maybe?

Stupid move, IMO, but whatever. It won't be so easy to finish school once she's done the pro thing, and apparently she hasn't yet figured out the importance of a degree. But best of luck to her anyway.

Really large shoes to fill. Turner is really going to have to step up and be that
first team AA sooner than expected.

As she announced her plans of not going back for her degree immediately, maybe she is going to do what Natalie Achonwa did this past season.
BTW do you know what is her current graduation progression status, is she on track to graduate in 4 years, or 3 1/2 years or 5 years...

Jewell has only been at ND for 3 years, so it is VERY unlikely that she has enough credits for graduation.
ND is truly going to miss her next year. I wish Jewell the best but I really wish she had chosen to stay. I guess this is just more good news for UConn fans.
