WVU scored 1 point in the first eight minutes of the second half.
They have no shooters. They've scored all year off a remarkably high percentage of dunks. And that is a losing strategy against all the trees on the KY team. Plus the refs weren't going to let them push, grab, hack and hold the way they have all year in what passes for their version of "defense". This outcome was predictable despite all their pre game bravado and trash talking.

| For the record, the final was 78-39, the rare (extremely rare in the men's game, let alone the Sweet 16) double-up.

This was the first one in the men's tournament this year. There have been two in the women's.
