Has there been any news on Calhoun's re-enrollment at a new school?
If no, what does that imply with regard to the timing of her eligibility to play again?

Daddy Dearest should have had a place for her to go before he had his hissy fit and pulled her out of Duke.
Rumor has it that he assumed since his son was a Uconn player that Sierra could play for Geno. I imagine he was shocked when Geno said no thank you.
Really is a shame because Sierra is the one being made to pay.

There comes a point where you don't want to see your kid abused any more. Sierra may actually benefit from a semester off, particularly if her time with Duke/Coach P. led to any psychological problems, which is possible. Loss of confidence or serious depression could be a biggie. We don't know what it is because none of us was there, so it might behoove some of you to back off a little.

Her leaving had nothing to do with coaching.
Father was upset that the other frosh were getting more publicity and he demanded that the staff focus more on Sierra,,,even though she was starting and played a ton of minutes.
Daddy also got in a verbal argument with another players father after he was belittling that player during a game) and they had to leave the building. He also was angry that that player accidently hurt Sierra(inadvertant elbow) in practice.
After he game he told Sierra to pack up and he pulled her out of school

With all of 2 posts under this name, one can only deduce that you're new to Reb's, goforit. Most here will require tangible proof of what you're saying, either before or after you make your statements. Did you witness it yourself? Will there be a tweet or 3 explaining it all soon? You may have told a true story, but unless you openly claim to be a first-hand witness, it's just second-hand hearsay. And that doesn't really add much to the dialogue.
That said, Sierra's father wouldn't be the first of the sort to pull this kind of thing. Hopefully, she lands in a Good Place where her father can't make a mess of things....IFFF it's true that he did, in the first place.
Now, if Coach P's more involved .... that just bodes really poorly for Duke. But: how will we ever know The Entire Truth?

What is your source for these claims? You admit you weren't there, yet make extreme innuendos about McCallie and Calhoun's state of mind. Maybe you should back off from such unsubstantiated psychoanalysis. |

Total fabrication. Well, there is one element of truth - Sierra did get injured in practice by a very hard foul. The rest of it is spun from thin air. Especially the part of it being about publicity given to other frosh. That's a grave disservice to Sierra and her family. You really shouldn't come and spout things that are simply not true.

Actually I made some *conjectures* based on what people who seem to have some inside knowledge have said. That, plus a little insight gained from being the mom of a couple of athletes and aunt to several more. I didn't make any CLAIMS, as you are saying I did, merely suggested some possible scenarios, so why don't you just back your own self off?

No not a fabrication...Seems you're not quite the insider you think you are...Mr. C got in the argument with Mr. J...If you were attending the games you would know that. They had to take it outside,
Believe what you want about the rest...It's whats being said by people in the position to know.

This is pretty accurate...I've seen the evidence.
She is still a student at Duke..had offers from Oregon and Florida..Geno said no thanks.

Pretty accurate? You just refuted the claim that she'd been pulled out of school by stating she's still a student.

When McCallie was at Maine, you could tell something was going on with her treatment of the players. Finally a player told me she couldn't take certain meds while pregnant and that the players were the scapegoat.
Mccallie's mental issues would make for an interesting documentary though.

So a player told you that they were the scapegoats? I see.
Some of these posts are really getting pretty personal with the things being thrown around.

I keep hoping there will be some facts supported by evidence in this thread, but like so much about McCallie, it's all rumor and innuendo.
I'm not defending her, mind you, because there's a lot of smoke, but no one has yet managed to produce hard evidence of the fire.
