Which of these prospective All-American teams do you think is the more deserving?

The first is the All-Lobo team.

The second is the All-Nutmeg-Except-Lobo team.

Stewie-Tuck-KML-Jefferson couldn't even beat Stanford.

Okay, substitute ZB for Stewart or Loyd in both teams and make your choice. Obviously what I'm trying to test is Mitchell-Davis-Plum vs. KML-Tuck-Jefferson.

KML is leading the country in TS% and eFG%, both Jefferson and Mitchell are in the top 10 in both, and Tuck is around 29th in both.

When Liston led the country in TS%, nobody seemed to care.

She was 6th, behind a handful of midmajor players and Markeisha Gatling. Smile

What do you mean she was 6th? At one point she led the country.

Probably, but she finished 6th, according to WBBState:
Madeline Blais, Marist 70.3%
Erikka Banks, Northern Arizona 69.0%
Markeisha Gatling 68.8%
Haley Seibert, IPFW 68.6%
Amanda Hyde, IPFW 68.0%
Trica Liston, Duke 67.2%

Nobody is talking about what they finished. Obviously KML is mid-season and Glenn is talking like people should be impressed by KML leading the country in TS%. Are you following along now?

Okay. Now I get it.
KML did lead the country in TS% her sophomore year, though, FWIW. Smile

Lewis also leads the nation in points per shot taken (PPW). In fact she, Nurse and Jefferson are all in the top 10. Mitchell and Turner are also in the top 10.

I know I'm not playing fair Glenn, but the best team is Loyd, Stewart, Davis, Tuck, and Jefferson.

You'll be pleased then by ESPNW's midseason AA team.

You see that, Glenn? ESPNW has Zahui, Davis, Stewart, Loyd and Mitchell as the Midseason AA first team. This is much more palatable than your choices.

Yeah, but the PAC12 fans won't be happy with that. Wink

You can't please everyone.

The first team listed is composed of the five players that Rebecca Lobo, during halftime of the white-knuckling UConn-Cinci game, picked as her five top candidates for NPOY so far this season.

The second team is the one everyone in my local supermarket picks here in the People Republic of Nutmeg.

There is no "other". The topic isn't who you think is the best AA team of all. It's who you think is more deserving team of the two listed. Sheesh.

Anyone who, like me, gets weary of the sheer number of UConn-centered posts can also do what I do and either skim or skip them. The only effective counter-measure is to post other interesting topics that aren't centered on UConn. And then accept the fact that all threads here become centered on UConn. Once that happens, go to option A above and skim or skip.
