I guess I was off about Rutgers. #25 seems about right based on last week's poll and results.

So I was right that Ky fell past UNC, but wrong in that Stanford jumped over UNC.

UNC is unchanged after losing to ND.

UNC is sandwiched between Stanford and AzSt. The relative order of those two will be sorted out tonight.

Honestly, I was pleased. It would have been very easy for the voters to drop RU out based on losing a game last week. And now that Canty is back and seems ready to play full time, I have better hopes the rest of the way.

Az St wins by 3 pts. Will they swap places?

The AP poll on Monday should be good to track because there has been a bunch of ranked teams going down.

#4 Louisville loses @ Florida State
#5 Tennessee loses @ Notre Dame
#8 Texas loses @ Baylor and vs. Iowa State
#10 Texas A&M loses @ Georgia
#11 Stanford loses vs. Arizona State
#12 North Carolina loses vs. Duke
#13 Arizona State loses vs. Oregon State
#15 Duke loses @ Boston College
#21 Minnesota loses vs. Purdue and @ Rutgers
#22 Georgia loses @ Tennessee
#24 Western Kentucky loses @ UTSA

Even among teams receiving votes, Oklahoma State was #26 and they lost twice this week. Washington was #28 and lost to Oregon State.

Well George Washington keeps on winning. Now 18-2 with an RPI of 13. Maybe the AP voters will finally notice.

It pains me to attempt a Week 12 AP poll guess. What a nightmare it was trying to figure this out.

1. SC
2. UCONN - Probably stuck here at least until the Monday after 2/09.
3. BAY - Well coached but not a ton of talent. Still don't like seeing them this high.
4. ND
5. MAR
6. TENN
7. OREST
8. LOU
9. KEN
10. NEB
11. FSU
12. TAMU
13. ASU
14. TEX
15. STAN
16. UNC
17. DUKE
18. MISST
19. IA
20. PRIN - Start playing. I ain't cryin for ya.
21. SYR
22. GA
23. RUT
24. OKLA
25. CHAT

Out: MIN Crying or Very sad, WKU

Hopefully I didn't forget anybody.

Louisvile lost to FSU this week while Notre Dame beat Tenn.

Louisville will likely be behind ND and MD.

GW made the top 25 in the coaches' last week; I think they'll make it into the AP this week.

Not that I don't think they should be in the top 25, but they'd have to pass a lot of teams that didn't lose any games this week to do it, and I definitely don't think they'll pass the Sooners.

You shouldnt have to Yes Tennessee Lost To Note Dame But They'remore forbitable oopponent vs An FSU team That Louisville were favorites to when. i Think This Poll here is correct and most likely be very similar tomorrow

CHAT doesn't get a lot of respect from the pollsters, so I suppose it's possible that GW could slip into that spot. But it's not like they did anything to deserve a huge jump, like beating a Top 25 team.

GW's best win all year was a 20 pt win over Purdue during a holiday tournament. Who has CHAT beaten? I don't know who's cooking those GW RPI books for you, Art.

They also beat Dayton at Dayton, and unlike UTC they have no bad losses. Their RPI and SOS are both much better than UTC, or Rutgers as another example.

If you don't like RPI ratings, Massey also rates GW as 13, by the way, while Rutgers is 30 and Chattanooga is 36.

Sounds about right to me, except I think you have Nebraska too high and I have Arizona St & Stanford higher.

1. South Carolina
2. UCONN
3. Baylor
4. Notre Dame
5. Tenneesee
6. Maryland
7. Oregon St
8. Louisville
9. Arizona St
10. Florida St
11. Stanford
12. Texas A&M
13. Kentucky
14. Duke
15. Texas
16. North Carolina
17. Nebraska
18. Mississippi St
19. Iowa
20. Princeton
21. Georgia
22. Syracuse
23. Rutgers
24. Oklahoma
25. Chattanooga (I'd prefer George Washington if Minnesota gets the boot)

PS: Nobody deserves to be the #3 team in the country. This year we'd be better off just having UConn & SC 1 & 2, skip 3-10, and start back up at #11.

I think you copied me in a lot of places. We definitely don't share the same thought processes. 18-20 & 23-25 the same?

How do drop NEB after they win both their games?

Florida State jumps Nebraska by having a super-impressive week.

It's fine that you think FSU deserves to be ahead of NEB, but 7 spaces ahead? Shocked

What other team have you dropped for winning two games and losing none for the week?
