Last Saturday Patberg's Columbus North team (ranked #19 in the country by ESPN) beat Bloomington South 61-46. Patberg had 16 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists.

Then last night Patberg scored 21, including two free throws with 3.4 seconds remaining, as Columbus North upset ESPN's #9 ranked Heritage Christian 59-57. Columbis North is now 17-1.


Sidenote - Heritage Christian was Kelly Ferris's high school.

Ali Patberg scored 21 points and set a school record for points in a season Friday night (Jan. 23), leading the Columbus North girls basketball team to an 85-29 victory over Bloomington North.

Patberg's output moved her season point total to 494 points, breaking the mark of 479 set by Teri Staker in the 1983-84 season. This record now gives Patberg all three CN scoring records, including points in a game (44 earlier this season at Martinsville) and points in a career (1,769 and counting).
