That's actually not bad. Syracuse has often gone for cupcake city, but I see four high quality teams.

Should have been a tough out but Sykes ACL was fixed in April and she may have to sit out and rehab. Too bad, she and Butler would have played their third year together.

Anyone know anything about the guard from Tenn St who will be playing this year? Name of Diamond Henderson.

And Tasia Butler, of course, is now at JMU.

Syracuse does have a volleyball grad joining the team along with the two commits and the grad transfer. Also Maggie Morrison the Vandt transfer is be eligible after sitting out last year.

Do you mean Taria? She hadn't played much the last three years. I was referring to Brianna.

Yeah Brianna Butler returns, Tasia Butler left for JMU, Tiara Butler is at Syracuse wasn't able to play had foot surgery should play this year or not has been plagued with various injuries on a guard heavy team with about 6 players playing the same position.

Is Sykes going to redshirt? Syracuse was looking good when they signed Sykes and Butler in the same class but they haven't capitalized recruiting wise on that class in fact it looks like each successive class has been a little worse. Right now they have two verbals with the best one being #240 and their incoming freshman class in 2014 doesn't look very strong on paper.

I would say that it is very unlikely that Sykes will redshirt. My guess is that she will see court action during conference play.

My confusion stems from the fact that Syracuse had too many Butlers….and as the folk at Downton Abbey might agree, one is enough! Wink
