De'Janae Boykin, Napheesa Collier, Arika Ogumbowale and Katie Lou Samuelson beat Netherlands, 19-10, in the gold medal game, and were undefeated in the tournament.
Scoring:
Samuelson - 8
Ogumbowale - 7
Collier - 4
Boykin - 0
Boykin was clearly the least skillful looking player, at least in this game, missing even point blank layups. She also looked shorter than Collier in the opening lineup even though she's listed as an inch taller on the roster.
Samuelson couldn't hit her outside shot in the final, which she apparently did well in the semifinal game, but looked very good driving, scoring and drawing fouls in the low paint.
There don't seem to be any 3x3 stats on the USAB site.

Arike Ogunbowale is going to be a very good player for whoever is lucky enough to land her. A potential AA for sure. Excellent ball handler, deft passer, sees the court very well, exceptional drive and pass abilities. You can't judge defense in the 3x3 so can't say how well she will do in that regard but considering she is an exceptional athlete I don't foresee any problems in that regard if she invests the effort in that part of her game.
Boykin is not as skilled as the other three offensively but she is a hard nosed kid who loves to mix it up inside. Anyone who came near her space, she let them know that was her space.
Collier and Katie Lou Samuelson are offensively everything that is said about them and more. Will be fun to watch at the college level.
Well, congratulations to all four young women for a job well done.

The USA's semifinal against Hungary and final game against Netherlands can be seen on this YouTube video.

There is no doubt Collier is at least an inch taller than Boykin, even though the roster lists Boykin as 6-2 and Collier as 6-1.
Boykin seems to be height hyped. Look at the player lineups before the two games, at 3:55 and 3:03:50. I've stood next to Samuelson and believe she's 6-3 max (maybe 6-2+). That would make Collier about 6-1 and Boykin about 6-0 or 5-11+. |

Size matters, no doubt, but equally, if not more, important is wingspan. A 6-2 player can have the effective range of a 6-5 player with long arms, and vice versa with short arms. Quickness and leaping ability also play into it, as does, I'm told, neck length.

Interesting that you rip on Boykin and yet Collier struggled greatly when she finally had to play against players the same size!!!!
Well clearly Clay Collier plays well against smaller players but when she plays against players the same size or who have some ability like the Netherlands she disappeared, getting blocked and not adjusting with any counter moves.
