I have always admired Ruth Riley even when she put a beat down on my beloved Huskies. She will alway remain not just one of my favorite players but also a person I admire for her accomplishments off the court. She is retiring. Does it seem that long or does time get shorter with age.

She is one of the people in sports I would love to introduce my son to, who is a division I athlete, as a role model particularly about the importance of commitment to her team but equally as important her commitment to her academics.
