LOL...I thought that too when I saw '2104'. My guess is that college athletics and women's basketball will be a whole lot different by the time that year rolls around.

That said...seems like a fairly weak crop again. I just kind of threw together what I think may happen but I honestly don't know much about attendance figures for many of these schools:

Rider @ Albany
Towson @ Penn State
Central Arkansas @ Arkansas State
North Dakota @ Colorado
St. Francis @ Seton Hall
Eastern Kentucky @ Western Kentucky
Mercer @ Mississippi State
Jackson State @ West Virginia

Nobody west of the Rockies involved in this...in fact, other than Colorado, there are no teams in the Mountain or Pacific time zones with all the teams being Eastern or Central time zones (Grand Forks, ND is central I believe). This is really regionalized...

Penn State vs. West Virginia in the final with Colorado and Mississippi State the other 2 semi-final teams. Just my best guess.

Attendance Figures from 2012-2013: Subject to Change pending 2013-2014 Figures: (Average Attendance Per Game)

Albany (1,710)
Arkansas State (1,805)
Central Arkansas (1,017)
Colorado (3,261)
Eastern Kentucky (245)
Jackson State (950)
Mercer (1,052)
Mississippi State (1,317)
North Dakota (1,469)
Penn State (5,432)
Rider (497)
Seton Hall (641)
St. Francis Brooklyn (161)
Towson (460)
West Virginia (2,664)
Western Kentucky (1,247).

Mildly surprised that Penn State blows everyone else away.

Is that all games. or home?

I went to a Penn State game so I helped them in 2013-14. I think WVU should be up a bit in 2013-14

I also went to a St. Francis Brooklyn game but it was away, so not sure whether I helped their numbers Smile

That is quite a weak lineup. Too bad, I really used to llok forward to this tourney and of course loved when UofL won it last year. But, ugggh, that is some non power there. Penn State should run away with it.

My predictions above...reality below. Got 3 correct but did predict the home/away teams correctly. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the schools (E & W Kentucky, Ark State & C Arkansas) already had regular season games scheduled so the NIT put them on opposite sides of the bracket. This seems like a pretty weak field overall.

Eastern Kentucky @ West Virginia
Rider @ Seton Hall

Mercer @ Mississippi State
Jackson State @ Arkansas State
---------------------------------------------
Towson @ Penn State
St. Francis @ Albany

North Dakota @ Colorado
Central Arkansas @ Western Kentucky
