1. Stewart 2. Loyd 3. KML 4. Jefferson 5. Harrison seem a good bet for the 5 player AA list.

Based on watching Burdick the last few days, she will be on the list, maybe the long one rather than the short one, but she looked very good.

Breanna Stewart
Jewell Loyd
Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis
Tiffany Mitchell
Isabelle Harrison
Moriah Jefferson
Alisha Gray
Elizabeth Williams
Bria Holmes
Lexie Brown.

Wow, this was harder than expected, DeShields definitely would have been on this list if she was eligible.

I won't make believe I have any idea who will be an AA (beyond some very obvious choices), but it's worth noting that Scaife broke Cappie Pondexter's record for frosh scoring at RU.

I think Bashaara Graves is a player that should be mentioned.

Well, take your pick. There's zero chance more than one Tenn big will be in the top ten, so who will have the big year and stand out? Will it be Graves? Russell? Burdick? I think Harrison is most likely. Burdick would be my second choice. I do think one of them can make it (unless the coaches spread it around so much no one has an AA year, which I doubt will happen), but only one.

Bashaara Graves should definitely be mentioned! .....and as an under the radar, you heard it here first mention, Cheyenne Parker, Middle Tennessee. 6'4" (legit) transfer from High Point who led the nation in blocks year before last. Sat out last year and progressed immensely under the tutelage (can't believe I used that word) of Alysha Clark. ....works out night and day, has an Avery Warley type body, but way more skilled. Will most likely average 25 points, 14 boards, 5 blocks, for what will certainly be a Top 25 team.

Burdick certainly hasn't had the impact many expected at Tenn given her high ranking in HS. The Tenn coaches struggled at first with where to player her (wing or PF) when she first arrived on campus. She's really too slow-footed for the wing but the arrival of Graves and no better option at the wing decided that for the coaches. The Tenn coaches have worked with her on her running style and footwork but there's only so much that can be done to improve foot-speed. Her best work is done inside the lane/mid-range jumper but that area of the floor is already taken up with Tenn's post players. She doesn't help space the floor on offense as she doesn't take many 3-point shots (25 all of last season) and she struggles to defend opposing wings. She's a skilled passer, good mid-range shooter and pretty good rebounder but I'd be shocked if she made even a 10-player AA team.

Crystal Bradford is the real deal. If she stays healthy, she'll be a WNBA lottery pick.

I've seen her a little, and she's very athletic, but she's a two guard who doesn't shoot all that well (51.6% from the free-throw line, 40.3% from the field).

She is listed at 6-0, so she's tall, but unless she's a great defender -- and she might be -- I don't know how much of an immediate impact she'd have in 2015.

But given the sorry state of the 2015 draft, she could be a lottery pick. After all, somebody has to be ...

That's a bold call, but I'm not buying it.

I don't post much of anything on here, but wanted to add a player's name to this discussion. That player is Nirra Fields at UCLA. I'm a Bruin fan from way back, and may seem a bit bias, but she's got serious, serious talent and is just getting her feet wet.

Here's a highlight reel of what she did last season.

Love Nirra Fields as a scorer. What she does with the rest of her game will determine how far she goes.

I agree Clay, that's why I said she's just getting her feet wet. Loads of potential, but lots of weaknesses still to work on. One is her half court game which she did improve on from frosh to soph season, but she came in with a one-track mind and playing going only in one direction. How will she mesh with Canada and Caldwell in the backcourt. Will she be a leader or let them lead?
