Offered without comment, except for the standard eye-rolling at doing this exercise in April.

Et tu, Charlie?

Under-estimate Notre Dame at your peril.

Over-estimate Duke and you look foolish. Lexi will not be ready to play to start the season. There is no point guard. At all.

Okay, if I'd noticed that, there would have been a comment.

OSU doesn't make the top 25 and Oregon does. I'm sorry, Kelly Graves isn't THAT good. The Beavers return everything.

But the general public doesn't care about OreSt but does care about the Ducks and their football team and Phil Knight and Nike. ESPN knows who to hype and who to ignore and it has little to do with the factors you mentioned. It's a meaningless ranking seven months before the first game is played. Facts and reality have nothing to do with it.

Im hoping our coach is smart enough not to have a tough OOC schedule....it was PLENTY of top ten teams this yr who OOC SUCKED and did fine. Of course we have to face Uconn but besides that, we shouldnt be playing many top tier teams. This give Jones enough time to come back and gain confidence. The good thing is that we have one of the hardest conference so we can bounce back from a weak OOC schedule. Duke did just sign a community college PG. I mean, she is not dominate but she might work until Jones is healthy. I think the Chidom/Williams Combo is going to give alot of teams NIGHTMARES (better than Peters/Williams)!!!! Combine that with Becca from the outside and we have ourselves a team.
