Tamara James has 32; Mo Currie, 43. The rest of the team was busy turning the ball over. (26 turnovers for Duke.) To paraphrase Roy Williams, it's amazing you can have so many turnovers and still win.

Wasn't Dominque Canty in a similar situation? A forward who had to transition to guard? James has the advantage of having actual range though. |

I just checked an old SEC media guide and see that she was was actually listed as a guard. For what it's worth, she was the tallest guard in a three-guard line-up.
I don't think it matters too much. With a 7.4 rpg average, I think she could've played forward.

| It wouldn't surprise me if the Mystics took Tamara James with the five pick. There's no clear number five out there; if you ask ten people, you'd probably get ten different answers....
