Marshae played in the Columbus City League (at Mifflin) with Alicia Avery (who was at Cincinnati, but withdrew). She was in the same league with Brookhaven's Brittany Hunter (UConn) and Kristen Peoples (Arkansas), Independence's Jessica Davenport (Ohio State) and Star Allen (Ohio State), as well as Eastmoor Academy (who has a guard headed to Ohio State next year).
