Jerry Palm has his first bracket projection up. The No. 1 seeds are the obvious ones: Tennessee, Duke, LSU and UNC.

Last four in: Cal, Kentucky, UCLA, Vanderbilt.
Close, but NIT (Not In Tournament): Delaware, Notre Dame, Texas, Western Kentucky.

ACC led all conferences with 8 bids.

Harry's brother. Somehow I don't see Virginia Tech as a 2 seed when it's all said and done.

Neither do I. They're going to suffer their fair share of losses, including two losses to Duke and possibly two to Virginia. A two-seed can't lose five plus conference games, can it?

I think the Virginia/USC match-up will be intriguing. However, I'm still unsure why UNC and Virginia would be in the same bracket...again! Stop the madness! Twisted Evil

UNC in the same bracket as UConn? Uh oh! Very Happy Could this be Dec. 5, 2005...part deux? Wink

I must say that I like Duke's bracket. Smile

I couldn't find it. Can you tell me if Western Illinois was predicted to go to the tourney and, if so, what seed are they projected to get.

A 14-seed playing DePaul in Chicago. Duke's the #1 seed in this region, the Cleveland bracket.

St. John's as a 5?! I love me my teams in red, black, and white, but he had to be drunk to put the Red Storm that high.
